Andrea, Head of Technical Operations at UrbanChain, has built her career through bold decisions, varied experience, and prioritizing customer and colleague needs.
Now 50 years old, Andrea finds herself in a settled place with an adult daughter pursuing her own career and an engaged partner. Her role leverages her strengths in team leadership, complexity management, and customer-focused business strategy.
“The continual learning excites me — from the role, projects, and my colleagues.”
Andrea’s professional background spans retail management, major UK energy suppliers, and water and energy software services. She has specialized in optimizing processes related to metering, billing, and data management, bringing these skills to continuous improvement efforts at UrbanChain.
A significant career turning point came when she left an established company without securing another position first. For someone self-described as risk-averse, this represented a substantial decision. However, she felt confident on her first day at UrbanChain.
Outside work, Andrea enjoys long walks, time with loved ones, and travel. Her partner and daughter have been formative influences on her life.
