The UK Government has announced a new national levy to fund the construction phase of Sizewell C.
Nuclear Regulated Asset Base (NRAB): From November 2025, a charge of £3.455/MWh will apply, rising to £4.530/MWh in Q3 2026.
These charges are set nationally and apply to all energy suppliers. UrbanChain is required by law to collect them. Customers with a valid Energy Intensive Industries (EII) exemption certificate will not be charged.
