Welcome to our meet the team content series where we find out more about the people — we like to call them ‘UrbanChainers’ — driving UrbanChain forward.
Please tell us about your role at UrbanChain…
I have two parts to my role as Customer Relationship Manager. The first part is to look after our clients, so they feel supported. As a manager I’m here to make sure that there is present and ongoing engagement and a solid, long-term relationship with our valued generators and consumers.
The second part of my role is to bring on new collaborative engagements with renewable generators to be part of our groundbreaking technology group, by clearly articulating our offering and engaging with the right people in a professional and gracious manner throughout the whole journey from opening conversation to enjoying the benefits of higher profits.
Tell us about you, where you grew up, education, previous work experience…
Originally from Broxbourne just outside of London. I have worked at five technology companies where I have opened, developed and finalised new business with senior executives within private sector companies.
My love of business started in school where I was an Avon lady selling make up to my local neighbours.
What are your passions, interests and hobbies outside of work?
My passions are family and fitness — I work out most mornings.
My treat at home is skincare and skincare products. I love facemasks and luxury moisturisers. I particularly enjoy facials. My hobbies are investing in shares. I have been interested in shares for a long time and would like to spend more time researching companies within which to invest. I currently do invest.
What are your strengths as a thinker and what are you best at?
I am best at ideas and creative thinking. My strengths as a thinker are ideas generation, creativity and strategic thinking.
What’s it like working at a disruptive technology company?
Exciting, all hands on deck and motivating. I’m happy to be making a difference in my own way.
