UrbanChain: Supporting Family Action's FOOD Clubs

We’ve got some brilliant news to share - UrbanChain has pledged to support national charity Family Action.

Family Action has supported families through life’s toughest challenges since 1869. Today the charity run 150+ specialist services across England and Wales, supporting some of the most vulnerable children, young people and adults in society, providing real support for real life.

So why have we chosen to support Family Action?

At UrbanChain, our mission has always been about making systems fairer and putting people at the heart of change. We believe in community, in giving back, and in creating a positive impact that stretches beyond business.

A big focus of the support we plan to offer will be to Family Action’s Food On Our Doorstep (FOOD) Clubs in the North West.

We’ve formed an internal Charity Committee and have already agreed staff will be supporting through volunteering at FOOD Clubs in the North West and running charity events to raise much needed funds for the clubs.

Working with the FOOD Club team at Family Action will offer a chance for us to roll up our sleeves, live our values, and work alongside a charity that’s been creating real change for well over a century.
